Window Thermometer Thermometers Range
Welcome to Thermometers Direct – we are market leaders in window thermometers. If you are looking for a window thermometer, you have come to the right place.
A window thermometer is vital if you want to determine the temperature either indoors or outdoors. All you need to do is simply fix the thermometer to the outside or the inside of your window pane depending on your preference.
Many people choose to have a window thermometer on their greenhouse, but others just like knowing an accurate outdoor temperature and the range of window thermometers on offer from Thermometers Direct can provide you with that information.
One of the main benefits of the window thermometer is that it is simple to use. All you need to do is remove it from its packing and press it onto a clean window. Once you have done that it will start working automatically. Therefore, no tools or nails are needed of any sort and no damage is left on removal.
Many of the window thermometers have been designed so that they can be read from a distance, which is a benefit if you are older and you want to keep an eye on the external temperature, but do not want to keep getting up to see it. A digital window thermometer usually has a large readable LCD display as well for the same reason.
The main benefit of a window thermometer is that they it has the capacity to read any temperature from -50 degrees centigrade to 50 degrees centigrade, which means that it does not matter what the temperature is outside, it will be able to measure it without issue.
Furthermore, as you would expect, all of the window thermometers are waterproof. Therefore, they are not affected if it rains, or if there is mist or the sprinklers get the thermometer wet.
On top of all of that, some of the more advanced digital window thermometers have the capacity to tell you both the daily high and daily low as well as the current temperature. Obviously, this is not something you get with an analogue reader, but having this information could be crucial to you.
Uses of window thermometers
Window thermometers are mostly used to measure the temperature outdoors. However, they can also be used to monitor the temperature inside if you want. Having the exact temperature indoors could be imperative for those with a new born and infants or those who are looking after people with special needs. This is because the thermometer can tell the exact temperature, which enables you to change it by opening a window or turning the heating on.
This is important because the right temperature will help with a good night’s sleep, which means more sleep for you.
Another advantage is as one gets older their thermoregulation functions do not work as well as they did when they are younger. Their blood circulation is also not as good, which means they feel less thirsty. All of this makes some of the elder generation unable to maintain steady body temperatures. As this is the case, a window thermometer is important if you have been told to monitor room temperature. The stark reality is that a few degrees either way could be the difference between a healthy body and some serious medical complications.

Oh so easy. clear description, easy to order and pay and speedy and efficient delivery. Bought two for around the house and easy to re-set to see Max and Min temperatures so will be very useful in spotting colds areas/rooms across the house and when these occur eg time of day of during the nights.
This product is very good and yet is very cheap. I am using this thermometer in my conservatory in addition to another outside the property - therefore I know what the temperature is both outside and in the conservatory.
By monitoring the temperature in the conservatory (that is entirely glass) the temperature rises in the conservatory between 2 and 5 degrees more than the house temperature and allowing me to open the conservatory door to the inner house and let all that heat into the house - whereby I can actually switch off the house heating and save a lot of money on expensive gas and electricity.
